Take Your Child to the Library Day

Join the Dover Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as we celebrate “Take Your Child to the Library Day”. There will be lots of fun activities, crafts, and raffles for families with young children. From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. we will be serving pancakes in the Storytime Room. Drop in during that time to enjoy some delicious pancakes made by your children’s librarians. All day there will be crafts set out in the Children’s Room to make and take. There will also be raffles throughout the day as well as a special raffle for any child getting his/her first library card (must be 5 years old). Come see all that the Dover Public Library has to offer your family. This program is free and open to the public.

Take Your Child to the Library Day is a free, fun, family-friendly event supported by the Connecticut Library Consortium and endorsed by the Association for Library Service to Children (a division of the American Library Association), Reach Out and Read, and Read to Grow.
