Beginning Friday, Oct. 25, a portion of Central Avenue will be reduced to one lane during underground utility work adjacent to the Cocheco Mill Courtyard.

The traffic restriction will remain in place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, while the work is ongoing, four parking spaces will be unavailable on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The trench work will eventually cross Central Avenue from the courtyard to First Street and may require additional parking restrictions on First Street once the Central Avenue work is completed. The work, which is being conducted by an Eversource contractor, is expected to last about two weeks.
