Dover High School to host 8th Grade Information Night

Dover High School and Regional Career Technical Center (DHS/CTC) will host its annual 8th Grade Information Night on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Dover High School. The school is located at 25 Alumni Drive.

Students and families will hear a brief overview of programs and offerings and have an opportunity to meet administrators, instructors, counselors, staff, and students. Guests are invited to tour the brand-new building outfitted with state-of-the-art facilities to meet demands of 21st-century education. In the town square, gymnasium, and learning commons attendees will find displays highlighting academic and career technical programs, extracurricular activities, and student organizations designed to enhance student engagement and connection.

The Dover High School campus includes the Dover Regional Career Technical Center, which offers 16 distinct technical programs where students are given the opportunity to gain certifications, licenses, and college credits as they develop applied skills. Students are actively involved within the community as they participate in job shadows, work-based experiences and internships.
