Arts Commission survey looks to gauge impact of the arts in Dover

In an effort to gather information that will help further Dover’s cultural footprint in New Hampshire, the Dover Arts Commission has created an online survey for local businesses to complete to help identify the impact of the arts and culture in Dover.

Part of what makes Dover such a vibrant community is the variety of arts and cultural events that occur throughout the city. By participating in the ‘Culture Counts in Dover NH’ survey, local businesses will be helping the Dover Arts Commission take inventory of the resources available for citizens to enjoy. Recording the importance of arts and culture in the city allows the commission to continue exploring funding opportunities for the greater arts community.

Businesses that participate in the survey will have an opportunity to be featured in future newsletters currently being developed by the Arts Commission, and may be included in future Dover Download email blasts. These newsletters will help to publicize the arts and culture events happening in Dover’s business community to the citizens of Dover and beyond.

The Dover Arts Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council and City Manager, and works to enhance an appreciation and awareness of arts and culture in the community through increased dialogue and participation of citizens.
