The City of Dover 2026 fall leaf collection will begin Monday, Nov. 2 and continue for six weeks, Monday through Friday, through Dec. 11.

Bagged leaves will be picked up by Waste Management on the same scheduled day as curbside trash and recycling. Please note that pickup is delayed by one day on Thursday, Nov. 26 and Friday, Nov. 27, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. 

Leaves must be placed curbside in biodegradable paper leaf bags. No brush will be accepted. Paper bags can be purchased at local hardware or home improvement stores.

Grass clippings, leaves, brush and yard waste are also accepted at the Recycling Center during regular operating hours, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
