Eversource is partnering the Arbor Day Foundation and local communities to promote sustainability and increase greenspace. Eversource is donating 1,000 trees to local communities through the Arbor Day Foundation’s Energy-Saving Trees program, an initiative across Eversource’s three-state service territory.

Residents can reserve a free tree online while supplies last. If you are a renter, please consult your landlord before reserving.

Eversource is partnering the Arbor Day Foundation and local communities to promote sustainability and increase greenspace. Eversource is donating 1,000 trees to local communities through the Arbor Day Foundation’s Energy-Saving Trees program, an initiative across Eversource’s three-state service territory.

Residents can reserve a free tree online while supplies last. If you are a renter, please consult your landlord before reserving.

Applications must be completed online through the application portal. Application steps include:

  • Entering your location.
  • Reviewing and selecting available trees best suited for the location to provide the maximum benefits.
  • Using the interactive tool to determine the best location to plant your tree or shrub for energy savings.
  • Finalize the reservation with a name and phone number.

The portal will guide the user to consider what the full size of a mature tree, and suitable areas on a property to plant the tree based on the property conditions.

Tree pickup will be on Wednesday, April 29 at 47 Chestnut St., Dover, between 12 and 7 p.m.
