The City Council will hold a workshop session on Wednesday, Nov. 4, starting at 7 p.m., to discuss the proposed Capital Improvements Program for fiscal years 2028-2033.

The Council will hold public hearings on the three resolutions that encompass the CIP at its Wednesday, Nov. 18 meeting: approving the six-year planning document; approving capital reserve fund appropriations for FY28 non-debt-financed projects; and authorizing appropriation and bonding for FY28 debt-financed projects. The City Council is expected to vote on the three resolutions at its Wednesday, Dec. 9 meeting.

The first-year projects and appropriation will then be incorporated into the FY28 municipal budget, which will be introduced to the City Council in February 2027.

The Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend the CIP’s passage to the City Council at its Oct. 27 meeting.
