The Faces of Dover Olympian Marker was formally dedicated at a ceremony on July 2. Due to the heavy rains, the ceremony was held indoors.

Speakers honored each of the Dover Olympians, including Mayor Robert Carrier. Pictured is Great Bay Rowing's Natalie Grimm who spoke about Olympian Jennie Marshall, Great Bay Rowing's board president and coach who was unable to attend.

The marker, coordinated by the Dover Recreation Advisory Committee, highlights seven Olympians with a connection to Dover. The marker was installed last fall in Henry Law Park, near the Rotary Gardens.
