Water to be shut off to Mill Street area on Jan. 13 to find water leak

To locate a significant underground water main leak near Mill Street, Community Services plans to shut off water service to the Mill Street area, including the Sawyer Mills Apartments and parts of Charles Street, beginning at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13.

Water service may be intermittent throughout the night as Community Services employees work to locate and then repair the broken water main. Water service will be restored once the leaking pipe is found and repaired.

This is a continuation of work to find the water leak that began last week.
