Apple Harvest Day 2020The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Apple Harvest Day will take place for the 36th consecutive year, but this time around, the festival will be offered in both an in-person and virtual format.

Beginning October 1, AppleHarvestDay.com will be live for festival goers to explore a wide variety of virtual vendors for the entire month of October. On the website you will find links to vendors’ storefronts, social media pages, and vendor videos. Check back regularly to see what exciting things vendors are offering throughout the month.

On October 3, the Dover Chamber will host the Apple Harvest Day at Home live-streamed event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Apple Harvest Day will be brought to you on this day with ceremonies, demonstrations, and performances, including a presentation from Wildlife Encounters--all with a click of a button on AppleHarvestDay.com or Facebook Live.

October 17 will serve as the in-person component of this year’s festival. Be sure to get your tickets to the Apple Harvest (Drive-In) Day, a day full of entertainment at Restoration Church in Dover. The fun will include kids’ shows in the morning, with Juggler Bryson Lang at 10 a.m., continuing with Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate at 11 a.m. In the afternoon WOKQ’s Apple Pie Contest will be at 3:30 p.m. and Acoustic Radio will wrap up the day with a 4:30-6:30 p.m. performance.

There is no charge for the kids’ shows or to enter into the Apple Pie Contest, but registration is required. Tickets for the Acoustic Radio performance are $10 per vehicle.
