Wednesday snow removal in downtown postponed

Snow removal operations planned for downtown sidewalks and curbs early Wednesday morning have been postponed in anticipation of additional snow.

A winter storm watch is in effect for Wednesday morning, through Thursday morning. According to the National Weather Service, Dover could receive up to an additional six inches of snow, which would require Community Services crews to conduct citywide snow removal.

Community Services will make a determination for downtown snow removal of sidewalks and curbs later this week.
