There will be special programs just for teens, including yoga, candle-making, an improv workshop, "Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" movie night, and take-and-make crafts.

Adults can learn to understand color in art with Art Historian Jane Oneail in the "Power of Pigment" Monday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 306 of the McConnell Center.

Feel like doing some art of your own? In July, paint a tiny canvas and then explore downtown Dover to see what everyone's created! If you're feeling more competitive, take part in our van Gogh competition to see who can create the best version of a Vincent van Gogh painting.

Finally, we will have a Bubbles Extravaganza Friday, Aug. 1, at 10:30 a.m. on the McConnell Center front lawn to celebrate the end of Summer Reading Program. Bubbles McGee will be joining us with her amazing interactive bubble show.

This is just a small sample of what the library will be offering this summer. Check out all our events on library.dover.nh.gov/events or stop in the library at our temporary location in the McConnell Center to get a brochure. All of our programs are free and open to the public.
