The Office of Health Inspection is responsible for health-related inspections and licensing at restaurants, bars and on-street food vendors.
City of Dover Health Inspection ratings are the result of routine, unannounced inspections conducted by the City of Dover Health Department. Using a standard scoring template as provided by the State of New Hampshire Division of Health and Human Services, food service facilities are rated on a point system. 70-79 = “C”; 80-89 = “B”; 90-100 = “A”. Scoring below a 70, or violations in areas deemed “critical” would require immediate intervention.
