The City of Dover will host a public informational meeting about a project to replace a bridge over Bellamy River on Bellamy Road on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m. at Dover City Hall in the Council Conference Room. The project is currently in the design phase.

The need for the project is due to the bridge, located between Zealand Drive and Cataract Avenue, being structurally deficient and hydraulically undersized. The project will also improve the bridge’s ability to support fish passage. The city has contracted with engineering consultant, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., to evaluate replacement alternatives for the crossing. Staff from the city and the consultant will be on hand to introduce the project and present the design alternatives being evaluated.

For more information, contact Deputy City Engineer Matt Gibbons by email or at 603-516-6450.
