To Enter:

1. Each individual may submit one original poem.
2. Participants must reside in or attend school in Dover, New Hampshire.
3. Please do not write your name on the poem. Please print your name only on the attached cover sheet.
4. Please type or print your entries very neatly.
5. Each participant must complete the attached cover sheet and have it signed by a parent or teacher.
6. Deadline for entries is April 15th 2026.
7. Drop boxes will be located at the Dover Public Library and Dover public school libraries, and submissions can also be e-mailed to e.ainaire@dover.nh.gov
8. Poems will become the property of the Dover Public Library and will not be returned. Participants grant the right to use their names and exhibit their work without further permission.
9. Entry categories are as follows: 
   • Grades K - 2
   • Grades 3 & 4
   • Grades 5 & 6
   • Grades 7 & 8
   • Grades 9 & 10
   • Grades 11 & 12
   • Adults 18 & older
10. Prizes will be awarded in each category.
11. Poems will be judged on originality, style and creativity.
