We have a self-checkout station located across from the Adult Circulation desk. You may checkout all materials, with the exception of DVDs. We need to take the locks off the DVDs, so please come to the desk for those.
Use the self-checkout station when the librarians at the desk are busy, or if you always wanted to play with a scanner.
How to use the self-checkout station:
Scan the back of your library card
Scan the Dover Public Library barcode on each item (this is usually located in the upper left corner of the front cover)
When you are done scanning your items, click the "Finish" button and choose whether to print a receipt.
If your card is expired or has more $10 in fines you will need to resolve the issue at the circulation desk before using the self-checkout station.
