The Arts Commission and Dover Public Library have teamed up for a fun Summer Reading Project
Throughout the month of July, stop by the library or one of the participating Dover businesses to pick up your canvas (while supplies last!). Bring it home and decorate it using any medium you'd like, and be sure to include your name and phone number on the back of your canvas. Then beginning on August 1, return your completed artwork to the location where you first picked up your canvas to be displayed in our community art show throughout the month of August! Please be sure to pick up your canvas by Saturday, September 6 from your drop off spot (canvases that are not picked up will be disposed of).
Canvas pickup locations:
Beginning August 1st pick up a brochure with the participating locations, and as you visit the displays across Dover be sure to have them stamped or initialed by a staff member at the participating location. Folks who visit all of the participating locations and have their brochure initialed or stamped at each spot can return the brochure to the Library to be entered into a raffle for a Dover Dollars prize!
