Open Lands Committee to host kayak tour Sept. 16

Join the Dover Open Lands Committee for a guided kayak tour along the Cochecho River on Sunday, Sept. 16 at 2:30 p.m. to help celebrate National Estuaries week. The tour begins at the new paddle sports dock on Dover's waterfront, located at 31 River St.

Special guest Melissa Paly, the Great Bay/Piscataqua Waterkeeper with the Conservation Law Foundation, will discuss the significance of the tidal river and how to maintain the health of the river and Great Bay.

All participants are required to sign a liability waiver form at the event and will need to supply their own kayaks and life vests.
