The Presidential Primary was held Tuesday, Feb 9, 2016.
The polls in Dover were open during the primary from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
There were two separate ballots in a primary election: One for registered Republicans and one for registered Democrats. Voters who were undeclared, and wished to vote, could declare a party on the day of the primary and received that party's ballot.
Voters could change party status back to undeclared before leaving the polls or by visiting the City Clerk's office and filling out a change of affiliation form after the primary.
