Transfer to Capital Reserve - Curriculum
Transfer of funds from the operating budget into reserve account for payment of future large curriculum upgrade projects. This reserve fund will be used in conjunction with the annual curriculum funding in the general operating budget to ensure adequate funding is available for curriculum upgrades without having large increases in tax rates.

Transfer of funds from the operating budget into the existing School Facility reserve account for payment of future facility upgrade/improvement projects. This reserve fund will be used to ensure adequate funding is available for school facility upgrades without having large increases in tax rates.

Transfer of funds from the operating budget into the School Information Technology reserve account for payment of future IT upgrade/improvement projects. This reserve fund will be used to ensure adequate funding is available for school facility upgrades without having large increases in tax rates.

Planned curriculum review and upgrade per Curriculum Cycle. Expenditures from this account ensure that adequate funding is available for curriculum upgrades without having large increases in tax rates.

Middle School Locker Relocation
This project would relocate existing lockers to the hallways of three wings at Dover Middle School to create an open-concept student learning workspace.

Middle School Air Conditioning/Dehumidification System
This project will purchase and install an air conditioning/dehumidification system at Dover Middle School.
Cost: $546,000
Middle School Roof Replacement
This project will remove and replace 65,000 square feet of 20-year old asphalt architectural shingles at Dover Middle School. It will also include adding a new layer of EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) on 52,000 square feet of the roof.

Facilities Space Needs Study
This project will develop long-term needs and usage plan for District facilities. The District will contract a consultant to conduct a comprehensive facilities space/needs study that will include city growth projections and the potential impact on schools. It will also have recommendations for building modifications, additions, and possible new facilities, as well as evaluation of shifting attendance areas and/or changes in grade alignments for the current schools.
