Audiobooks are read by a narrator.  You listen to them with an electronic device or computer and earphones or speakers.

We have audiobooks on CD that you can check out from the library.

You can also download Audiobooks with your library card from the New Hampshire Downloadable Books Overdrive site or the Hoopla site to your device.

Using Overdrive

Check out 3 audiobooks or ebooks at a time.

Check out 3 magazines at a time.

Audiobooks circulate for 1 week.

eBooks circulate for 2 weeks.

You can choose to set either the audiobook or ebook circulation period to 1 or 2 weeks if you don't like the default.

Audiobooks and eBooks are automatically returned at the end of the circulation period.  At that time, the files remain on your device, but you will not be able to open them.  You may then delete the files from your device.

Magazines count against your checkout limit for 1 week.  After that, the magazine remains available to you and you can check out another magazine.

Most titles can be returned early if you are finished.

Place holds on up to 5 audiobook or ebook titles that are currently checked out.

You will receive an email when the title is available.

You will have 48 hours to check the title out, or you can set your account up to check it out automatically.
