Friends of DPL Annual Meeting

The Friends of the Dover Public Library will hold its annual meeting at the library on October 10, 2023 at 6:30 PM. All friends are invited to attend.

The meeting will feature the elections of two new board officers and ten board members. The two-year terms of office for president and vice-president and one-year terms for secretary and treasurer are available as are five board member positions for one-year terms and five for two-year terms.

Friends interested in any of these positions should access the link and read the Duties of Friends of the Dover Public Library Officers and Board Members Candidates.  

Candidates must submit their responses to these questions on or before October 3, 2023 to be placed on the ballot.

The Friends of the Dover, NH Public Library is an independent non-profit volunteer organization working in cooperation with the library and its Board of Trustees to address the educational and informational needs of our diverse community.  The organization will maintain an active membership that raises funds for library activities and advocates for library policies that foster the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights.  Together, we strive to empower individuals, enrich lives, and build a stronger, more connected Dover community through the promotion of our library.
