Eversource maintenance work in Dover begins July 6

Eversource will begin maintenance work next week on a transmission line between Perkins Road in Madbury and McKone Lane in Dover. Eversource's contractor, PAR Electric, will replace structure hardware, including lightning arrestors, on select, existing structures. PAR will access the structures by either bucket truck or poles. Helicopter work may be needed if crews are unable to access the structures.
Work in Dover will occur at the following locations:
Durham Road, Meserve Road, Drew Road, Linda Avenue, Garrison Road, Finch Lane, Dover Point Road, Thornwood Lane, Middle Road, Back Road, McKone Lane
Work activities will occur Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as necessary. The schedule may change due to weather and other unexpected circumstances. The work is expected to be completed, including final restoration of disturbed areas, by December 2020.
Crews will be adhering to the current Eversource COVID-19 Precautions Guidelines for the safety of employees and customers.
