On Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 Wentworth-Douglass Hospital will hold the fourth annual Seacoast Cancer 5K to benefit the Seacoast Cancer Center. Over 2,000 participants are expected. The event begins at 9 a.m. with a start and finish at WDH. Motorists should expect -- and give way to -- runners or walkers wearing numbered race bibs on any Dover roadways between 9 and 10 a.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019 Wentworth-Douglass Hospital will hold the fourth annual Seacoast Cancer 5K to benefit the Seacoast Cancer Center. Over 2,000 participants are expected. The event begins at 9 a.m. with a start and finish at WDH. Motorists should expect -- and give way to -- runners or walkers wearing numbered race bibs on any Dover roadways between 9 and 10 a.m.
There are several major street closures during this event, including:
Motorists should avoid Oak Street, Broadway, Chapel Street and Saint John Street between 9 and 10 a.m. Residents of these streets, as well as Oak Terrace, High Ridge Drive, Jefferson Drive, Brick Road, Rose Street, Winter Street and Durrell Street, will not be able to arrive or depart by car during the race. Please plan ahead to park outside of the race route.
Event parking will be available in the WDH garage and at the medical office parks off Old Rollinsford Road. Dover and Rollinsford police officers and event volunteers will be posted along the course to help manage traffic.
On-street parking restrictions will be posted in the following areas to accommodate the race course or related traffic detours:
