On Monday, Jan. 6 and Tuesday, Jan. 7, an Eversource contractor will continue work to pull underground cable through recently installed conduit between the Cochecho Mill Courtyard and First Street. While this work continues, parking will be restricted in four on-street spaces on Central Avenue in front of the courtyard.

In addition, traffic on Central Avenue will be restricted to one lane in the area of the work.

This work will be performed between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. The affected parking spaces will be available at the conclusion of each day's work.

Eversource's downtown utility work includes improving the reliability of the electric utility downtown. The work is in response to power disruptions earlier this year and follow-up meetings between Eversource and downtown merchants.
