Drain line work begins May 13 on Belknap, Folsom and Saint Thomas streets

On Monday, May 13, 2019, drain line and utility work will begin on Belknap Street, Folsom Street and Saint Thomas Street.

The work will occur weekdays, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., for approximately three weeks, weather permitting. While the work is ongoing, on-street parking is prohibited. In addition, the following traffic restrictions will be in place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• Belknap Street will be closed to all through traffic from Washington Street to Folsom Street.
• Saint Thomas Street will be closed from Atkinson Street to Belknap Street. The road will be remain open to two-way local traffic only from the Atkinson Street end of Saint Thomas Street.

The work area will reopen to traffic and parking each day at 6 p.m.

The work will be conducted by Somersworth-based MacKinnon and Sons Excavating, the City of Dover's contractor for the project.
