The Dover Police Department will host a community forum on the addiction epidemic on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Police Department, 46 Chestnut St.

During the forum, Dover's police and fire chiefs will lead a presentation and discussion about the addiction epidemic and the City of Dover's response and progress.

In addition, several community partner organizations and social service agencies working with the city to address substance misuse, mental health and homelessness, will be in attendance.

Light refreshments will be provided.
