Dover Police Chief Anthony F. Colarusso, Jr. announces the following road closures for the 10th annual Moms on the Run Mother’s Day 5K event, which is part of the Dover Race Series.

On Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 9 a.m., the following road closures will be in effect:

Dover Police Chief Anthony F. Colarusso, Jr. announces the following road closures for the 10th annual Moms on the Run Mother’s Day 5K event, which is part of the Dover Race Series.

On Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 9 a.m., the following road closures will be in effect:

  • Exit 7 southbound off-ramp from the Spaulding Turnpike, 9 to 9:30 a.m.
  • Bellamy Road, in the easterly direction between Durham Road and Alumni Drive, 9:05 to 10 a.m. 
  • Rutland Street, between Cataract Avenue and Central Avenue, 9 to 9:20 a.m.
  • Cataract Avenue, 9 to 9:15 a.m.

Motorists should expect delays at the Central Avenue/Mill Street/Exit 7S intersection, and a lane shift along Route 108 between Rutland Street and Bellamy Road. Dover police personnel, New Hampshire State Police, and a number of event volunteers will be on hand to help manage the flow of traffic along the race route. The start and finish point for this event is Dover High School, 25 Alumni Drive.

This event is organized by and will benefit Zebra Crossings of Dover, which provides year-round, medically supervised programs for children with chronic medical conditions. More information is available at http://www.momsontherun.org/.
