Downtown snow removal begins at 11 p.m. tonight

Community Services crews will clear snow from streets, sidewalks and curbsides throughout the downtown starting at 11 p.m. tonight, Thursday, March 15, 2018. Work will begin in the McConnell Center and Library parking lot and continue into the downtown.

The specific areas of downtown snow removal operations include:

Central Avenue, from Third Street to Kirkland Street;
Third Street, from 42 Third St. to Central Avenue;
Parking spaces around City Hall, including St.Thomas Street and Hale Street;
Church Street;
Main Street, from Chapel Street to Broadway.

As a reminder, the citywide winter parking ban remains in effect and prohibits parking on all city streets from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.
