The City Council will hold a public hearing on Keno games in Dover on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.

The public hearing is required prior to the ballot question appearing before voters during the Nov. 7 municipal election. Voters will be asked, “Shall we allow the operation of keno games within the City of Dover?”

The City Council unanimously voted in August to send the question to the ballot in November.

If approved, Keno would be permitted in Dover restaurants and bars licensed by the state Liquor Commission.
