The Dover Community Senior Center has a wonderful opportunity for members to use the fitness area of Dover Recreation, Monday through Friday from 9am - 12noon as part of their Senior Center membership. The fitness area includes a Cybex circuit room, cardio and free weight rooms, and a warm up cool down area with mats, exercise balls, and flex bands.Fitness Classes Fitness classes are offered throughout the year. Instructor: Theresa Bean Senior Fitness Classes for Senior Center members only still has some openings. Session IV will begin on November 16th and end on January 8, 2010. Classes are as follows: Cardio - Mondays/Wednesdays 8:30am-9:30am or Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:45am-10:45am. Yoga - Mondays or Wednesdays 10:00am-11:00am Muscle Strength Range of Motion - Tuesdays/Thursdays 8:30am-9:30am. Zumba Gold - Friday mornings. Payment and a completed waiver are due at signup. Members must wear athletic shoes and bring water with them. Please check with your physician before participating in any exercise program.
