Candidate Forums scheduled October 26th & 27th

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce again presents Candidate Forums for the public to gain knowledge about those running for public office in the November 3rd election. Don Briand, News Director of WOKQ 97.5 will moderate this year’s forums.

The forums are held in the City Council chamber and broadcast live on Channel 22 on Monday October 26th and Tuesday October 27th. Those in uncontested races will have opportunity to make a brief statement about their candidacy.

Tentative Start Times

Monday, October 26th 6:30 to 10:00pm - School Board, At-Large & Mayoral
School Board 6:30 to 7:00
At Large Council - 7:05 to 7:50
Mayoral - 7:55 to 8:40

Tuesday, October 27th 6:30 to 10:00pm - Wards 1 through 6
Ward 1 - 6:30 to 6:35
Ward 2 - 6:40 to 7:05
Ward 3 - 7:10 to 7:35
Ward 4 - 7:40 to 8:05
Ward 5 - 8:10 to 8:35
Ward 6 - 8:40 to 9:05

Candidates will be given the opportunity to make opening and closing statements and will be asked a series of questions developed by the Forum Committee. The public is invited to submit questions for consideration to be included in the forum. All questions must include name, address and phone number of submitter and may be sent to info@dovernh.org or faxed to 603/749-6317.

The candidate responses to the Chamber Questionnaire will be published on dovernh.org by Friday October 23rd.
