From 7:00 A.M. until approximately 6:00 P.M., Central Avenue (Route 108) will be closed to all traffic between the intersections of Hough Street (at U-HAUL) and Abbott Street (at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital). All thru traffic will be diverted to Mount Vernon Street, which runs parallel to Central Avenue.

Thru traffic on Oak Street will be diverted south onto Park Street, to Ham Street and around the southern end of the detour zone.

Residents in the surrounding neighborhoods, especially Mount Vernon and Park Streets, should expect unusually heavy traffic. RITE AID, at the intersection of Oak and Central, will remain open for business but will only be accessible via Oak Street.

Effective at 6:00 AM on that date, on-street parking will be prohibited in certain areas near the event, including:

Central Avenue (between Oak and Hough Streets)
Hough Street, Abbott Street, Hill Street, and portions of Mt Vernon Street
