Central Avenue road closure to continue near the hospital

Closure of Central Avenue in the vicinity of Wentworth-Douglass Hospital will continue on Monday, October 26, 2009, possibly extending through Wednesday, October 28, 2009, weather permitting. Utility installation on Central Avenue, just south of Old Rollinsford Road, has required the complete closure of Central Avenue (Route 108) between 7:30AM and 5PM.

Posted detour routes will remain in effect as will the temporary parking restrictions in the Mount Vernon neighborhood.

Police officers and traffic control personnel will be on-site to help manage the flow of traffic and to assist motorists needing access to medical and professional offices on Old Rollinsford Road.
