2020 Presidential Primary

The date of the Presidential Primary in New Hampshire has not yet been set. Once set under the state's first-in-the-nation provision, the primary date and additional information will be available here.

There are two separate ballots in a primary election: One for registered Republicans and one for registered Democrats. Voters who are undeclared, and wish to vote, can declare a party on the day of the primary and will receive that party's ballot.

Voters can change party status back to undeclared before leaving the polls or by visiting the City Clerk's office and filling out a change of affiliation form after the primary.
