Summer Reading

June 21 - August 2

Sign up starting on June 21

Join our Summer Reading Program to

“Build a Better World”

this summer and have some fun. If you want to be eligible for prizes, be sure to fill out a review slip online, or in person at the library. This will be your drawing entry drawing to enter to one of our weekly raffle prizes. Then select which prize you’d like your entry to be submitted for. Online forms will change every week to reflect the prize choices. We’ll compile the list of what everyone reads and share it anonymously so you can find some new titles for your to-read list! Prizes will also be handed out every week for the best review. The theme this year emphasizes building community and helping others.

How it Works

Fill out a registration form online or at the library. Why not register when you sign your children for Summer Reading? You must be 18 years old or older for this program. The first 50 adults to register will get a coupon for a free book from the Library’s book sale.

Pick up some review forms or fill them out online each time you finish a book between June 21st-August 2nd.

 Read, read, read!!!!

Any format of book is acceptable. Read, listen to an audiobook, or read an eBook.

Weekly prize drawings will be held and each book read with a completed book review slip will be eligible. Weekly prize winners won’t be eligible to win another weekly prize, but will be eligible for the Grand Prize. To be eligible to win the Grand Prize you must have read and reviewed at least 5 books.

That’s it! The goal is to have fun, set a good example for any children in your life, and spend a bit more time reading and relaxing this summer
