Recreation Advisory Board

The Recreation Advisory Board shall perform the following functions: (1) Study the general recreational development in the City of Dover and advise and recommend to the Community Services Director* as to such items which would result in a general improvement of the entire recreational system. (2) Study the entire general recreational programming of the City of Dover and recommend to the Community Services Director such additions or deletions that should result in an improved recreational program. (3) Aid and assist the Community Services Director* in the formulation of future plans and programs for the ultimate benefit of all users of recreational facilities. (4) Study and recommend methods for financing proposed recreation developments. Reference Administrative Code 3-59 Recreation Advisory Board *Please note that Administrative Code requires an update to reflect position of Recreation Director.
