Open Lands Committee
I. The City of Dover hereby establishes an Open Lands Committee comprised of up to eighteen members, with said members to be appointed by the City Council.

II. The Open Lands Committee is an advisory group with the objective of identifying open lands which are environmentally sensitive, of historic importance, or open space in the path of development. Said open lands would be prioritized for acquisition or other forms of protection to the Conservation Commission and City Council.

III. The City Council appoints as initial members of the Open Lands Committee the fourteen people who are listed in the attached "Statement of Purpose" dated July 25, 2000.

IV. The Open Lands Committee shall prepare a set of by-lads to govern its actions and responsibilities. Said by-laws shall be approved by the City Council at a future meetings.

The resolution shall take effect upon its final passage.
