Arts Commission

A. MEMBERSHIP: The Arts Commission shall consist of nine (9) members. B. TERMS OF MEMBERS: Members shall be appointed to terms of three (3) years. The terms for initial member appointments shall be made to allow for subsequent appointments to occur on a staggered basis with three members appointed for three (3) year terms, three (3) members appointed for two (2) year terms and three (2) members appointed for one (1) year terms. C. AUTHORITY AND DUTIES: The Arts Commission shall serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council and City Manager to enhance an appreciation and awareness of arts and culture in the community through increased dialog and participation of citizens.
